(2009-2010) Curtis was born in Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia her parents were Carmencita Ojales a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan and James Ernest Curtis-Smith, an Australian lawyer. Her father was married to Ojales at the age of 22 in 1982. Jasmine was her sister's younger. is also an actor. Their father was a half sister known as Clare, who passed away in 2007 at the age of just four months, due to a heart disease.
